Paid Hold Policy
Paid Hold Policy – The Olde 1840
We’re happy to offer a Paid Hold option for customers who need a little extra time before taking home their purchase. Please review the terms below:
1. Hold Fee
A non-refundable 25% deposit of the item’s purchase price is required to place any item on hold.
This deposit will be applied toward the final balance at the time of pickup or delivery.
2. Hold Duration
Items may be held for up to 7 calendar days from the date the deposit is received.
Need more time?
We can extend the hold up to 14 days for an additional $25 per week, paid upfront.
3. Final Payment & Pickup
The remaining balance must be paid in full before or at the time of pickup.
If the item is not picked up within the agreed time frame—and no additional arrangements have been made—the item will be re-listed for sale, and the deposit will be forfeited.
4. All Sales Final
All held items are considered sold and final sale.
No returns, exchanges, or refunds.
5. Delivery
If delivery is needed, it must be scheduled and paid for before the hold period expires. Delivery availability may vary.
6. Storage Beyond Hold Period
If pickup or delivery is not completed by the end of the hold period and you wish to retain the item, additional storage can be provided at $25 per week, subject to space availability.
