Paid Hold Policy

Paid Hold Policy – The Olde 1840

We’re happy to offer a Paid Hold option for serious buyers who need a little extra time before taking home their purchase. Please review the terms below:

1. Hold Fee:

A non-refundable 25% deposit of the item’s purchase price is required to place any item on hold. This deposit will be applied toward the final balance at time of pickup or delivery.

2. Hold Duration:

Items may be held for up to 7 calendar days from the date the deposit is received. Need a little more time? We can extend the hold up to 14 days for an additional storage fee of $25 per week, paid upfront.

3. Final Payment & Pickup:

The remaining balance must be paid in full before or at the time of pickup. If the item is not picked up within the agreed time frame and no arrangements have been made, the item will be re-listed for sale, and the deposit will be forfeited.

4. All Sales Final:

All held items are considered sold and are final sale. No returns, exchanges, or refunds.

5. Delivery:

If delivery is needed, it must be scheduled and paid for before the hold period expires.
