The Barn Renovation

Built in 1840, our carriage barn has stood quietly on this stretch of countryside for generations. Its structure, its beams, and its worn timbers carry the kind of history that can’t be replicated — the quiet presence of a place that has witnessed well over a century of life.

When we first stepped onto the property, the barn immediately felt like something worth saving. Its character was intact, even beneath years of weather and time. The goal became simple: preserve what gives the building its soul, and thoughtfully reimagine the rest.

The renovation is guided by a respect for the barn’s past and a vision for its future. We’re restoring the original bones, protecting what time has left us, and introducing clean, modern elements that allow the space to function as a warm and intentional destination. The result will be a blending of contrasts — historic structure, modern design; old-world patina, contemporary calm.

The process is ongoing, evolving one careful step at a time.
