- This is a vintage US Army Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) jacket in the woodland camouflage pattern.
- The jacket features standard "U.S. ARMY" patch above the left breast.
- It also includes a U.S. Army branch tape, an Air Assault qualification badge featuring a helicopter silhouette, and a Combat Infantryman Badge on top. The Air Assault badge signifies successful completion of the U.S. Army Air Assault School.
- It includes a patch on the left shoulder representing the 1st Infantry Division of the US Army, commonly known as "The Big Red One". The patch features a bold red numeral "1" on an olive drab shield-shaped background. Patches of this style have been produced and worn from the World War II era through the Vietnam War and into modern times. Merry wed-edge versions of this patch, which feature a thick, stitched border, were produced from 1968 onwards.
